Hymns For The Architect has been creating sonic liturgies, prayers and congregational worship songs for the seasons of the church and the seasons of life. The new album "Solace From Solitude" is a project for diving deep into the universe inside of you and around you. It takes the listener to a space of quiet introspection. Moving from massive sonic textures to solo piano. Instrumental ambient music for the sacred spaces of quiet reflection, meditation, prayer and quiet times. A sonic reminder to slow down, to pause, and to take a breath. Add this album to your worship, yoga or meditation playlist.

Fun fact: All songs were written "at the moment" as a personal experiment. Nothing was created ahead of time, like with most recorded music. The process was to play out the feelings from the day. And out came music that didn't describe what I felt... but instead what I needed to hear. I took the original piano or acoustic guitar parts and put ambient tracks on top. It was never meant to see the light of day — a different way to produce an album.
